Dry weather makes it more bearable in both extremes, that's for sure. I remember being in NYC with temps just above freezing and a super high humidity level, chilled me to the bone, whereas a -20 day here, especially with no wind, and with our low humidity levels, makes this more bearable than with the NYC example.

That is the way I feel, a damp 30 degree day feels colder than a dry 20 degree day.

Portland sounds as if it is having worse weather than usual. Unfortunate for those picking up, and poor Charlie!

But when it gets to be 110F, that's a bit much for some of us!

The 110 or less isn't bad, Cathy, but the 115+ makes one hide.

We scraped ice off the windshield early one morning leaving Westcliffe, Colorado, and arrived in Scottsdale, Arizona, that afternoon at 118 degrees. Left our shoe prints in the asphalt as we walked across the street. But as the locals told us, "It's a dry heat". We didn't care what they said! 118 degrees is hot!

As I stood in his back yard with my brother in law in the Alberquerque heat and he said, "it's dry heat" my reply was so is an oven.

It's equivalent to our week out of the year of below zero.

Very nice! How is it powered?
