I occasionally hear a faint noise, but I can't tell what it is. Right now the fridge is on 120V and I heard a noise, but I guess it's the water heater. It's not hot outside yet, so it shouldn't be a fridge fan.

I'm beginning to believe that high temps inside the trailer make the fridge get too warm. The next time I move I'll cool the trailer down beforehand and shut all the windows and vents before departing.

Yes, I shut up the unit, there is a hole in the bottom refer door, similar to the single door model that it was felt that towing with your windows or roof vent open could create a negative pressure inside, thus pulling cold air out thru the hole in the door. I resealed mine, similarly to what I did with the single door.

Same fans-not-coming-on issue here with the new fridge and a 150F sensor. I'm just sticking a manual switch on the bottom for now and will clip the new sensor on when it finally shows up. 110/120 sounds good to me...........

Yes, that is what I did, routed the switch to the cupboard underneath the refer.

Interesting thread. Getting mine swapped out in September. Hope it helps. Current single door Dometic isn't cooling well.

Interesting, I received from Dometic today a new warranty card and option to purchase a 3 year extended warranty on the unit, which I already had purchased on my original. Don't know if I should say nothing and buy the new one or try and transfer the original but lose 2 years coverage

Aren't computer programs wonderful? Must have been the send-the-offer date, regardless of what's happening..........

Currently (3:37 p.m. LT) at my location it is 91 degrees outside. I shut everything down so I could hear, then tried to hear the fan. I couldn't hear anything from either inside the trailer or with my ear pressed up to the outside grill behind the fridge. If the fridge fan were working, I think it should be on now. Temperatures right now are 46 deg fridge / 18 freezer / 91 outside.

I used a mirror to watch the blades 'whir' and then could barely hear it. I see wire to the second one but can't see.

I added a fan in my cool air pickup and hear it. And have a switch at the head of my bed so when I 'remember' to turn it off, or on, I can do it where I am

Where are the fans located? I don't have a clue.
