Time to Head North

Well, our time has come to begin our slow journey north. Tomorrow (hopefully) we will leave San Antonio and begin working our way to the Escape rally, then on to Alaska. After spending the month of July in Alaska we then plan to drop back into the states and head toward the east coast for a couple of family functions. So come on along and see where we go!

Life Is Good Today!

Sounds like a great trip. Donna and I loved our trip to NWT and Alaska. We went in the fall and it rained buckets but when it cleared it was worth every rain drop.

Check your gas constantly on your trip to Alaska. I've heard it can get rare in some spots.

J Mac-as soon as we start traveling north of Edmonton I will be carrying an extra 5 gallon gas can. I've heard too many stories of running low, don't want to take that chance.

Thanks all-almost all loaded up-leaving in an hour or so!!!!!

You should be fine without the extra gas can until at least Ft St. John, BC. There is still a bit of evidence of civilization once you get past Edmonton....
