In Alberta the badlands are quite vast, and only 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from here. It is a great place to visit, with lots to see. You may have heard of the Tyrell Museum of Palaeontology mentioned on here as a must place to visit. It is in Drumheller, which is the start of the badlands, heading further east. A great history on dinosaurs there. Lots and lots of skeletons have been found in the area.
