Yes! It is on Put-In-Bay or some call it South Bass Island. It's a beautiful State Park! We love camping there mid October with bikes. And you put your FGRV on a ferry to get there! Highly recommend staying during the week tho to avoid the weekend party crowd.
Funny thing is I didn't realize what love locks were till somebody told me. I just thought the fence looked cool. Ha

Rob must be at 40,000 ft. w/no wifi Otherwise he would have reminded you the picture was tagged(which appears when you enlarge the image). Quick search: Kiptopeke Beach, Virginia.
There are 9 McCloskey ships partially sunk to create a ferry breakwater.

Yes, they built ocean going ships out of concrete to avoid the "UBoats" sonar and due to the shortage of steel. Similarly to the lead pennies that replaced copper being used for warheads. I have a jar of them somewhere.

Correct....it's overlooking Chesapeake Bay.
And, I'll have to be more careful about that tagging next time.

I know that one instantly Jon. False Kiva, in Canyonlands. First went there when I was 8 years old. One of my favorite places too. The light is incredible. I love sitting on a ledge and watching the rocks change color as the sun gets lower in the sky.
