Help me identify this insect

Never seen one of these, anyone know what it is, I placed a quarter for perpective

Well if it is a crane fly, it must have hatched near TMI, look at it's size .....compared to this one

It is probably 3 times the size it is supposed to be....TMI is Three Mile Island over on the river, about 15 miles away. It was the site of a meltdown in the 70's
