Have it done when you are away in your Escape..........

A first world problem when building a house in third world Haiti.

My photos will be quite a contrast.

Lots of activity today despite all the rain we've had. Plan is to close next week. There will still be lots of exterior landscaping work to do as well as the pool, but its move in time. Click image for larger version

Looks like the long wait is drawing to a close. Love the location.

That sure is one twisty river.

With all the vacant land by the garage, could you install a circular drive to facilitate turning the Escape around to back in or better yet, is there space behind the garage to allow a pull thru?

There's plenty of space. The issue right now is cost. The concrete doesn't come cheap, and I've already spent way more than originally planned. I may do it at some point in the future but backing in (especially with my ParkIt360) isn't a problem.

You seem to have a nice wide drive, so backing it in would be an easy thing too.
Even the turn at the end is to the driver side. But with the powered dolly that makes it even easier.

Heck, you're way ahead of us. No railings and no fridge.

This thread has been a real education. I've found some of the construction techniques interesting and I wasn't even aware of the Texas Hill Country.

House is nothing but a pile of boxes right now, but the view of the sunset out the Master Bedroom windows is pretty nice.Click image for larger version
