Pandemic pricing
Has anyone seen what older Scamps and other fiberglass trailers are listed for (and likely sold for) on fiberglass-RV-4sale? I thought I did well in 2016 when I sold my fathers 1999 Scamp 16. I know fiberglass trailers hold their value but supply/demand during the pandemic is definitely playing a huge part in current pricing.
For example a basic 1988 Scamp 16 with front bunks and side bath $12,500.
2002 Scamp 16 $14,500; 1994 Scamp 16 $11,500.....WOW.

I saw someone post a 2001 Casita fir $20,000! It looked nice, but....
Someone else had an early 1980s Scamp 13 for $12,000!!! Some prices are insane!

Yep, I've been casually watching .... I have my 2005 Casita yet to put on the market.
I'm hoping for a reasonably quick local sale in my Austin, TX area, planning to only advertise locally, it's a market rich with young, outdoors-active, and economically thriving folks. Asking price TBD (?), not looking for anything crazy but I don't expect to lose nearly as much to depreciation as I would have thought when I bought it new.
That's not going to happen until much closer to the Escape completion date in August, if the market craters by then so be it, coincidence of timing and demand, we'll see.

Dave, not only are the prices sky high, but we sold over 90 Casitas in Aug alone! Big numbers on the other brands as well. We can’t keep enough inventory on the site the trailers have sold so fast. Slower now, but I expect March to go wild.

And that is of course the ultimate tragedy in all of this, effects on economic / financial situations be damned.
