Some variety of southern ants, known as fire ants, will bite and leave a nasty bite mark.

Hi: cpaharley2008... Another type of ant in Florida is the "Ghost Ant". You can't see them unless you're still...and they move!!!
Never pitch your camp on an ant hill. Alf

Stoney, they crawled up one of the wheels and found an orifice to get in. I crawled around underneath but could not find the spot where they came inside.

Greg,
Does your unit have the foam spray underneath?

Windex works great! Kills on contact but they will come back.

We had if you could imagine black granite countertops. I would see a couple of ants...spray and wipe only to find a thousand on the paper towel. Tried spraying along the grout line in an attempt to keep them out. Thought if I could wipe out their "trail scent" it would work....nope. They actually made it into the freezer and ice maker. Yuck.

Good luck

Granite counter and ice maker in the stick house. I was confirming that windex does work well in a pet home.....and there is no rhyme or reason as to why the ants frequent weird places.
