More pix.

Our camp at Harmon. We were surrounded by five empty sites. We figure everybody bailed out after a storm came through the day before. And that storm a horde of mosquitoes hatched, we found out that night. I thought there was an electrical issue with the trailer, but on investigating, and pressing my ear to the window screen, I could hear thousands of angry mosquitoes trying to break in.

And, on the road to Harmon and the Kane Lakes area near Merritt.

And, this suction cup towel hanger served a purpose and didn't even fall off, a pleasant surprise.

Nice area!! I have a similar setup. There's nothing quite like having the campsite to yourself!!

Keath can come cook for me any day. But, why is there no fish on the grill?

Actually, we had two small salmon fillets, frozen from home. Didn't get around to them.
Years ago I pan-fried Chataway trout in garlic butter. Took at least four fish to fill the pan. Tasted like mud.

When Wolf was bush flying in northern Ontario ( lots of fly in fishers ) we learned the Pike from warmer lakes taste pretty bad - although they have a lot of bone they were always good from the colder lakes ..... can't imagine warm lakes in BC though .......
