Escape escape

We live about a mile west from where the King Fire in Northern California started Saturday night. I prepped the trailer, and when the fire blew up Sunday we were placed under voluntary evacuation. We bugged out. The Evac Center was at a bowling alley/Community Center lot in Pollock Pines. We stayed two nights, then came home yesterday, and the Voluntary Evacuation was lifted for our area today. Fortunately, the fire line is very stable on our side. I was thankful to have the trailer as a home away from home. Never have camped in a parking lot before.

That's how I view it. Another protection option for Hurricane
Season. After hurricane Katrina we really learned the hard way to have an "a Escape" plan.
