Fun weekend trips with Cafe Egg
Hi Y'all,
Here some pics from a recent weekend trip to the Point Beach State Forest in WI. Just a very beautiful area, and the beach was just steps from the campsite... I am already now looking forward to our trip to the Kohler Andrae State Park in a few weeks, also on Lake Michigan...

Gerda you were great!
No more tractor driving jokes!
Many thanks too to Jeff for all the shows. They have all been fun and sometimes enlightening.

Re: Fun weekend trips with Cafe Egg
Yes, thank you again Jeff for putting these together! I had fun yesterday myself. Curious to see who is next. Tractor driving is indeed very helpful, hehe... Baglo, I tried all sorts of fonts in Microsoft Word, that is when I found this font. I thought that one is just fitting the name best.

Re: Fun weekend trips with Cafe Egg
I grew up working on my grandfathers, uncles and aunts farms, and learned to operate a tractor c/w having to back up machinery. By the time I was old enough to drive I was a pro at reversing with something behind me.
Tractors are a great thing.
Gerda, I agree with Glenn (you all might want to take note of this day), the font you selected is great.

Gerda-
Lena is darling! I'm sure soon she will be towing the Escape soon, since you have that "tractor" gene..
It was fun meeting you and had great time doing the interview..

It has often been suggested by others that I am not.
But, I believe I am doing just fine, thanks.

Re: Fun weekend trips with Cafe Egg
Hi: gharms...Looks like you are off to a flying start. Screen room in place and ready to relax. Lena reminds me of my mothers collection of Hummel figurines. Clear complexion and a special sparkle in their eye. I bet she gets up to lots... while you are away!!! I caught the show on reruns and wished to ask if you ever feel threatened or uncomfortable while traveling alone Alf

Re: Fun weekend trips with Cafe Egg
Alf now that you mention it, you are actually right with Lena's similarity to those Hummel figurines Especially those cheeks and eyes... Oh she can be a handful at times too...
Fortunately we have not experienced uncomfortable moments while traveling yet. Although I must say, being used to travel alone I tend to avoid more iffy areas and play it as safe as possible. Doesn't hurt, you know!
This weekend we were home just doing things around the house and having a play date with Lena's best friends. But now we are antsy to get out again. Looking forward to a camping trip to the Kohler Andrae State Park in Sheboygan this coming weekend. We will pick up Cafe Egg Thursday after work. That way, we can leave straight after picking Lena up from daycare. This time it will be camping with friends again, anticipating campfires til late night and hopefully star gazing.
