I shoulda

I should have posted Dirk's blog address http://web.me.com/mosquitodirk/Site/Home.html prior to the web-cast tonight. His adventures, winter and wilderness camping with Finn and his 14' Prospector canoe would have certainly generated more questions about coping, camping in the off-season.

The blog is a good read with great photography.

I think I might just have to sleep in the trailer tonight . . .

Re: I shoulda

He does have a great blog.

As Dirk eluded to in the interview, we are headed out for a backcountry ski trip of 8-10 days, skiing around the Bowron Lake Circuit, a world renowned canoe paddling circuit of 116 km. I had attempted to do this with a couple friends last year, but due to way too much deep fresh snow, it made the going tough, so we only went part way and just did day trips. Dirk caught wind of our repeat attempt this year, and was in like a dirty shirt. It will be good to have a young fella like him to break trail, the other two involved are even older than me.
