You could also used UHT (sterilized, rather than just pasteurized) milk in small aseptic containers (Tetra Paks like juice boxes) - it doesn't require refrigeration until opened, so it could work well for a batch of pancakes... if you can stand the flavour.

We were there in 2013, camping in our Casita. The bear pic was taken from our window. I think he was looking for pancakes.
