Thanks for the suggestion rbryan4! I just checked and the cheapest flight from Cleveland to Kelowna would be $778.00. So far, the lowest flight I could find is to Spokane, WA, yet with a 3-1/2 hour drive. Ohhhhh, I SO want to be there!!!
Really appreciate your input!!!

We took that route when we left Chilliwack in Sept. Really good road most of the way and beautiful scenery. Coming down a long grade with Osoyoos down below, we said it was real easy to see why they held their rallies here. We would like to go back that way with the new trailer but no license plate may present a problem. Loren

Spokane is an easy airport and city to get in and out of if you come this way. I believe when we drove to Osoyoos last year it was a four or five hour trip. Of course we were pulling our new trailer and it was quite hilly! It's an interesting drive as you pass through the Colville Reservation on the way to Omak.

From our last trip, I would have to vote for Spokane. We went through a very nice city there and saw our only Escape sighting. Seattle and Vancouver have very heavy traffic and my gripe about that is that in a strange town everybody knows where they are going but you. Loren

The airport is west of Spokane on highway 2 which is the road you would most likely want to take To Osoyoos. Not a road I would want to drive at night and keep your gas tank above half full as there are long stretches without services.

Thanks Loren and SpokanEscape! I'm thinking Spokane IS the way to go. I forgot to mention that the flight from Cleveland to Spokane is $492.00, lowest by far. I'm going to sleep on all of this and make the decision tomorrow whether to reserve the flight/car/yurt.

Yeah, I'd have to agree Spokane is the best pick. You'd have only one stop instead of two, the rental car would be cheaper, and the border crossing near Osoyoos is pretty easy.
