Just returned from Skagit Valley Provincial Park. My buddy, Ian, and I found ourselves in one of the four best sites on the river. Three other sites in the park were occupied. Dozens of others vacant.
I asked the park attendant why nobody was there and he said, simply, mosquitoes. I didn't find them that bad, with lots of Deep Woods Off, and I prefer mosquitoes to being packed in side by side with motorhomes and the buzz of their AC units.
Still didn't get around to putting up the screen room.
Had an issue with the left turn signal and stop lamp on the trailer. Ian had brought his multi-tester, but we couldn't find the problem.
Stopped at Escape on the way home and Reace isolated it as the
tail light converter in the RAV. Managed to get home, only turning right.
And, when I tried to start the RAV at camp, I got the click-click of a dead battery. Somebody, probably me, had left a door ajar I guess, and the battery is five years old. Luckily, I had my Honda 1,000 generator with me and after a few minutes charge, the RAV started. Try that with solar in a rain forest.
Will try sending pix on a new message. This isn't working.
