We filled out the work order, paid the deposit; and today we sold the Casita. Now comes the hard part: Being without a camper until June.

Dick, welcome to the long wait club! The best part is how much you will love your Escape in June!

Congratulations, and enjoy the wait! We also sold our Casita early in the process after ordering the 5.0 The tent camping we did prior to the arrival of Bali Ha'i was nostalgic and pleasant, but we were sure glad to have the trailer on that first windy, cold night.

Re: three fourths there

Hi: captmath... Our wait was very short and relatively pain free as we bought "Our Escape Hatch" used at the young age of 10 mo.old!!! Complete Pkg. truck& trailer ready to plugin and tow. Dealing without a deposit was nail biting as it took us time to make arrangements and travel 2 hrs. to get it. In our case silence was GOLDEN!!!
I hope you had fun picking out the items for the work order and I know you will enjoy the fruits of your labour. Alf

Re: three fourths there

Selling your Casita already must have been difficult for you... but the payoff will be that much more joyous when your new Escape is ready for you & you finally get to step inside it.

Re: three fourths there

Dick, a great advantage of the "long wait" is that you can tweak your order, up to a certain point, after getting great ideas on the Escape forum! This has been very helpful to us as we go through this process. We were just looking at our file of photos and paperwork from our first Escape; that all started in 2004! We are amazed at how many improvements there have been since then! The Escape really is a great trailer! Reace and Tammy (and their employees, of course!) are what make this such a great company. You will definitely love your Escape! It is worth the wait!
