How did I know that the mention of ANY edible would inevitably lead to the mention of poutine?

One of our neighbors was out earlier this week with the snowblower clearing the area for his snap peas, has to get them in in 3 weeks.

I spent yesterday shoveling out the space where my 19 will go. I leave to get it tomorrow, here's hoping Ma Nature cooperates.

I have a recipe for a rhubarb meringue pie from my mom that is to die for.

And yes, strawberry rhubarb is a great combination.

One of my comfort foods, is plain old stewed rhubarb, with nothing but a bit of sugar. Oh yeah, and a couple fresh biscuits, and a scoop of ice cream in it too.
