Re: Trailer cover

I guess not to park it under any birds or trees would help. As for washing it that part I would do while the cover is still on the trailer. Some mild soap and a soft brush. Let it dry a day or two pull it off and fold it up.They always look old and used after a year or two.

Re: Trailer cover

My Escape is parked very near a lot of trees. After the first year, it was a major effort to clean to the top. Last year I purchased a cover on sale from CW. A few weeks ago I removed the cover and the Escape looked great! The top of the cover not so great. The cover's instructions stated to use just water to clean it, nothing else. After I blew off the driveway of needles and cones, I laid out the cover and power washed the top of it with a fan nozzle. Came out looking not too bad with a few stains that couldn't be washed off.

The cover takes a little effort to put on but easy to remove. The cover is oversize with the end panels designed to tighten the cover. The cover has a door access that I found to be useful.

Re: Trailer cover

Silicone Spray on just the area that gets the most sap and birds has worked for me on car covers. Not a solution but does help.

Re: Trailer cover

Our Calmark cover was delivered while we were away camping the last three days. We had to send accurate measurements to the company so they could make this a custom-fit. Measuring was kind of tough with a too-short tape measure and the curvy/tapered camper. When I get some pics of the cover on the 19, I'll post them on my blog and I'll let you know here that the deed is done.
