2017 TA Umbra Hook placement

Has anyone else thought about installing Umbra hooks in a 5.0TA? We want to hang our coats and are wondering about an 'out of the way' and sturdy place to mount the hooks. We are thinking the wardrobe door might work.
Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions.
Sally

Seeing they install them for you at orientation Sally, I would suspect that Escape too will be able to add some good insight into placement.

I am waiting until after pickup to install hooks myself, and don't know yet where that will be, or what type I will use.

I mounted hooks on the wardrobe door, but I really do not like the appearance of Umbra hooks so I used more traditional hooks. They are, however, rarely used (for light jackets) as we are warm weather RVers. It seems to be a convenient location. We do have plastic hooks in the bathroom on the wall behind the toilet for wet raincoats.

What I like about the 3M Command hooks is you are not committed to the first place you thought would be a good idea for installation. They can be removed without damage to the surface and placed somewhere else.
The problem I've had is where else?
I placed one on the side of the bath at the front dinette ( 17B ) and one on the side of the fridge at the rear dinette ( bed ). I thought I could hang my clothes on it while crawling into bed. Turns out that the clothes hang down enough that I got tangled in them as I flail about. Now, all that hangs on that hook is a small flashlight.
The most useful one was placed on the front of the bath, next to the door, except that Leslie used it for her dresses and they would prevent the bath door from closing properly.
My point being that you can move the Command hooks, and if you really love the Umbra, you can install them in place of the Command hooks when you figure out what works best for you.

I put a 3 prong umbra hook on the top of the shower door on the out side. I used vhb tape. So far it works great. I hang a jacket and use it to dry my towel too.

My concern would be for the hinges.

I have 3 of them, a 4 hook up high on the wall next to the bathroom, a 3 hook about midway on the same wall, and a 5 hook on the side of the fridge. The first 2 are used for coats and clothes, gives me a hand hold in the middle of the night too. The last for kitchen stuff, drying pad, etc.

If you are asking me, I used 3M Command hooks, white plastic, to match the bathroom walls.

3M makes a line of hooks for wet environments. Mine are just ordinary ones.
