Why not ask Escape if the blind supplier makes a more solid black out blind and swap them out.

New blinds...... A mod I overlooked. !

Back to the subject, I use blackout fabric, purchased from Hancock Fabrics. I measured the shape of the window (added 1" all around), cut the fabric and sewed velcro to the corners. I glued black velcro to the corners of the window frames. When needed it's easy to attach the blackout fabric behind the shades. When not used, I fold them and store in a cabinet.

I also have the Reflectix shades, cut for each window. But they are not as easy to store on a long trip.

DonM has the right idea. Tammy can probably give you a price for blackout shades.

Thanks Vicki and thanks to all for their input on this subject! Even J MAC's, which I have to admit was very clever and darn funny. Can't wait to meet many of you at the June rally

Have you ordered tinted windows?
That and the factory blinds are effective in my opinion.

I ordered the extra insulation and thermal windows but was not aware of a separate tinted window option.
