Ok another "What is it"
Hello creative Escape community! I don't usually work in oak but this one needed to be made from it. So I will of course answer questions. Ross you don't get to play you already saw the prototype. Bill

The requirement for oak has me baffled.
The only thing that I can think of from the photo is a ramp for your sewer hose , but I am sure that is not it.

Excellent puzzle. Other than assuming it is intended to match the oak interior, I am stumped. Can I ask whether shock cord will be part of the picture?

Could it be a wedge for keeping the refrigerator and freezer open when not in use to allow air flow ?

The groove down the length of the back-side suggests it will rest against some tube or pipe, like the stripper pole. And the four large holes would accommodate two u-clamps to fasten it against the pole. That leaves only the two small drilled holes on the base and the angled piece with another small hole. If all that makes sense, then what would one want to clamp to the stripper pole that would require oak for strength but only three small holes, one on an angle.

I'm with War Eagle on this one: it looks like the backing portion to attach something to the pole, perhaps a paper towel holder?

War E has it as to clamps around the pole, and Ksitte looks to be on it as the distance of the two small holes line up with the paper towel holder bases.
Maybe some other accessory but I’d vote for paper towel holder.

Does it, in any way, involve a counterclockwise swirl or a pinch?

The 4 larger holes that appear to go all the way through maybe drain holes ? The 3 smaller holes on the backside are to screw to ,attach coming from the back of the piece of Oak ? Pat

Ok another "What is it"
Judging by sizes and hole configuration I think it mounts on the support pole by the door, but why.
or could it mount on a TV mounting arm hmmm.
Cheers
Doug

Looks like you have an older Escape with older awning. Does the block attach to the awning leg using the door stopper to keep the door from touching.
