Re: Paper Towel Rack and the 19 Footer

Hi: Yukon Escape... The better quality S/S is non magnetic. We have it as a backsplash surrounding the stove/sink. Nothing magnetic will stick to it!!! Reace doesn't like installing it either.
When I installed a MaxxFan in our former Boler I wanted to replace all the exterior mounting screws with S/S. The gal at Facca Fasteners tested them with a magnet and said "they already are S/S". Alf

Will have to speak with my local tin basher.

That is a very nice back splash, I have been thinking about something like that as I think the stove may be a bit close to the wall.
Combination back splash and heat shield.

I would guess that is why magnets do not stick to my legs.

In our 17B we use an inexpensive nickel plated. spring loaded holder (Cdn Tire, Dollar Store, etc.)that has been fastened underneat the top cupboard above the sink. Because it's spring loaded you can travel with PT in place and still find it there when you stop....as opposed to it unrolled into the sink. Works great.
