Ours is mounted in the same place, a Samsung 22" UN22F5000. That model was discontinued long ago however. A shame since it is the perfect size, works with a 12V adapter so you don't need the brick, and the picture quality blows away all the TVs "made for RVs". And, it was around $100. Hard to beat.
I'd look for something from Samsung in that size range again if I were in the market.

Ours is a 19" Samsung. It came with a brick for 110 volt down to 14 volts. I chucked the brick and put a cigarette lighter plug on the cord. It runs fine on battery power, which isn't 14 volts, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Ours is mounted on the passenger side because we both like to stretch out on the dinette seats with our backs on pillows against the front wall. With the TV on the drivers side the person on the dinette driver's side wouldn't be able to see the TV.
Photo is taken from driver's side.

I was watching a show on cable, at home, called "Extreme RV's" and in one scene buyers touring a selection of RV's in the half-a-million dollar range lamented the fact one had a flat screen they thought was too small. It was mounted outside, a mere 36 inches diagonally. You opened a panel door in the shade of your awning. They really liked another model that had - count 'em - 7 flat screens, all inside though.
Mine is a mere 19 inches, a Haier short of those, Marshall Dillon.

Don't know why but I hate that show Myron. Watched it once for about 20 minutes and was shaking my head. Hey, if they're that eager to flush money down the drain, give me some of it.
Now James Arness, I'll watch that.

I'm guessing when those rigs get dirty they just trade it in for a new one. I passed one on I-40 just today. Hitched behind it they were towing a ruby red Silverado 1500 like mine.

Do you remove the TV from the mount and store it away when moving?

We do this in the 5.0TA. We even take it down and stow it right out of the way when stopped and not using it most of the time too. It does not take long, and gives us a bit more room. It is amazing how much room a TV takes up. To be fair, we are not that used to watching one, and now that we have one it is rare that it gets set up to watch. Mostly on a bleary evening that sees us inside anyway.

We have the Escape mount . The plate stays on the TV and there is just one screw that mounts the plate to arm . Very easy . We don't leave the TV mounted anyway going down the road and just unscrew TV and put on bed . Being doing that now for almost 5 years . Pat

Actually always have had a high end TV which for us was Sony . The TV we picked up at Best Buy has a nice picture and color . So crappy , not really . Even at home our sound runs through a amp , not the speakers . We also have Sony wireless speaker for trailer TV. If the TV was crappy it would of gone back to the store . Pat

Ron, I don't see a 'stripper pole' to the left of your sink. I believe my 2018 will have one. Do you think it would get in the way of viewing the TV from the passenger side dinette bench?

I don't think so. Unfortunately I'm using my TV for another purpose and can't confirm that. But it's an articulated arm. The TV can be positioned more to the right if necessary and the view from the driver's side would still be OK.
