I have been considering small shelf units for the CORNERS, built much as Doug's, but with a curved front. I figure they could attach at the top, as his does, and also screw through the vinyl, possibly at the same location as a present screw that's covered with a button, likely into a block. Wouldn't hold much weight...eye glasses, keys, whatever. Maybe big enough for a paperback.

Idea still needs time in the oven, however! I thought I'd mock one up with cardboard and see how effectively one design could fit two, or even four corners. Want to be careful they don't get in the way of someone leaning back in that corner.

That's sort of what I originally intended. Shaped sort of like a boomarang, wrapping around the corner. I did a mock-up, with a shelf just 4" deep. It was positioned at about the same height as the one in the picture above. The wife vetoed the idea. She felt it encroached on her space too much when her head was on the pillow.

I would think you would have a captive audience here with all the 15/17/19 owners wanting to purchase some.
never in doubt, often wrong

Thanks Doug for the the advise on how you get it to stay there. Will be fabricating, customizing ours I'm sure. Anxious for Oct & spending few nights in it!
