Wow Jim, Just as I am about to arrange delivery on my 21' after a delay, move, and all, we finally got a slot, submitted the build, and she is about complete! I long debated the 5.0ta as well. It is a great rig.

What is your new tow vehicle, I know you were wondering about pin weight and all. Looking forward to the process of your decision, I always learn alot from you.

Don, Brenda, and Mom

Back to the 5.0 specific questions, the landing gear are not synchronized so each one needs to be lowered independent of one another, correct. But you do not need to raise the front like the pull behind, you merely lower each side and unhitch and pull forward. No up and down like with the pull being A frame jack set up, correct.

Pretty much. You raise the front off the hitch, unlock the hitch, open tailgate, pull forward, drop the front to level.

Just finalizing paperwork, and we are looking at a delivery of February/March. With the new job I don't have the time to make the drive out and back.

Nice new Tug! What is they payload?

Jim, this is a standard 5th wheel hitch, don't know the sequence for the Anderson.

With a trailer, the tongue jack lowers both sides, with the 5.0, you lower each side separately? Do you go back and forth with your adjustments, seems like having both switches in one location would be helpful?

Both switches are in the same location. Most of the time I operate them simultaneously and only make minor independent adjustments for leveling.
