Mine's fast too now that I realized that removing the post is all I had to do. I just sped through a quick setup involving just using the flat cushions. I think I'm good to go.

We put a 2" foam topper on top of the rather stiff dinette cushions. Makes a pretty comfortable bed. The rolled-up topper is bulky, but works as a bolster on the real bed when watching TV.

This was a hand-me-up. Sixteen-year-old grandson got out of his bunk and a new bed, so we got the topper he had been using. I don't know where they got it. Came with cover; wife added a fitted sheet with zipper, so unrolling it you've got a bed ready to go. It's a good 34" wide, btw.
