With our previous Scamps we have scattered dryer sheets around the inside of the trailer and in the cabinets. Supposedly it deters critters...never had any intruders.....

I've heard that irish spring soap bars deter critters too--I have stuck a bar in the cabinet where the power cord comes in as our trailer is up in the cariboo by itself for a couple weeks...

Have not had an issues at home with rodents...

We're both the same way, trying to use unscented soaps, etc. I'm hoping moth balls around the floor of the storage area will have a similar effect without the Escape picking up too much of the scent.

Any chance of picking a new storage place without this problem? That would be my choice!

I'd love to, but it was a real challenge to find a vacant unit with a 10' high door. Also, this one is a short bike ride from home, so I'd like to make it work out if possible. We're hoping to start a new home construction project next spring, and a large garage is part of the deal. Just need to make it until then.

Oh no! Now we're going to start talking about fridge performance; I just know it!
