If I had a need for one of those I'd put a hem on 2 edges of one piece so that they'd stay together without paperclips.
Fortunately I've never had a mouse problem.

I'm working on experimenting with some rubber grommets on the 30 amp cord and will post my results. My 15 amp connector is already sealed.

We use a piece of steel wool placed around the cord at the entrance to the trailer and held in place with a piece of pool noodle. So far so good.

This is timely. I like it. Believe it or not last night I dreamed that mice entered my trailer and chewed up my Escape documents. Thinking that's what pesto sauce will do to you.

I used to have a few extendable boom conveyors I worked on, to stop the cable from over extending, although they were not as thick as this one, we used rubber cable stops. Need the cable thickness and the size of the hole you want to block.

I put a piece of pliable rope caulk around the cable.

Yep, another reason I am glad I went to the removable cable.
OK, they both do have their advantages, but I am one of the converted.
