Its a 2014 Silverado 1500 with the factory installed standard hitch. The trailer tows beautifully
with no additional hitch modifications needed.

We will be submitting our build list for a 19 this season. Looking through photos for people with 19's, I have been hunting for people with 1500 series trucks to see if they use an equalizer hitch. I can't tell what series your truck is in the photos. What hitch are you using?

Hello Myron, Last year I noticed your mods while waiting for my trailer to be built. I have copied a few of your ideas for the rack above the stove and the bedside book rack. I have the kitchen rack installed and have just finished the bedside racks. I will take a photo and post them as soon as I install the racks. Keep sending those great ideas.

Sorry but I never took notice of the shell's thickness. Once I removed the manual vent saw the opening was framed out by wood. Opening thickness was maybe an inch and a quarter, I think. That would include the vinyl ceiling padding.

    Hey Myron
Since you have recently installed an AC unit, can you estimate the thickness of the gel coat and fiberglass used for the roof of your 19 ?
    Thank you, Jubal

    Good Morning MyronL -
In image #28 you show a magazine rack - how many places are you attaching this to the trailer? And @ what location ?
In another image, you show a shut off for the toilet - did you have problems with it not shutting off?
Thank You for Your Time and Considerations.

I just wanted to let you know I've really enjoyed looking at photos of all the "homeboy" mods you've made, particularly the custom shelves and storage. Great job!

That folding bracket is for a small chest, or box, or perhaps a fold out secretary desk lid. It works also because it has very stiff action. Have totally forgotten where I got it. I suggest looking up Lee Valley online...they carry a wide selection of cabinet hardware. Wish I could be of more help.

Myron, I've been searching for a lid stay for the small hatch door above the closet in our new 21. Having an opening of only 5.25" has proven to be an issue for size. Your picture proves that it can be done, and nicely done. Do you have any information on the stay that you used? So far all I've found is an 8" unit that they claim will barely fit. The barely part concerns me, and the stay doesn't have as nice of finish as yours does. Thanks for any information you can provide, Tom
