    Hi Jon,
I recall sometime past where I think you posted a writeup on how you modified the OEM solar panel brackets so that you could tilt the panels. If that is correct and I don't have you confused with someone else (a high probability with me), would you please provide the thread or blog post that describes it?
Thanks for your time, it is appreciated.

    Jon,

I am thinking about running an antenna cable for 4G exterior antenna to the roof. I'm debating whether to run the cable from the electric locker parallel to the solar wiring up to the roof into the solar combiner box and then out of the box to the antenna. Alternative would be to keep the antenna wire separate from the solar wiring, drill a new hole in the roof and install a separate cable entry gland.

Do you think I should I keep the antenna wire separated from the DC electrical wiring that is running around 70+ volts.

    Thanks,
    Bob Grier

I used a switch I already had, but one of these from Amazon would do. You need a single pole, double throw with a center pin (3 pin) miniature toggle switch. The more difficult part is the connector attach it to the board. I can't help with a part number - again, it was something I had in my junk box.

Be sure to turn off the converter when switching between the two states. If you switch while the converter is on, it puts a spike on the 12V side.

Hello, Could you tell me where you got the jumper single pole switch for your converter? I have the same wildcat converter and would like the ability to switch. Thanks for any help you can lend.

Hey Jon I'm going solar and was wondering where you placed the DC to DC charger. I've got a 10 Amp Victron and a 5.0 TA. I suspect the AC/DC distribution panels would be similar. I'll have two 100 amp Battleborns with a Victron solar controller and the Progressive Dynamics for the AC/DC converter charger. Thank jn

Jon, the manual thermostat on off switch is tighter than a drum. It's plastic , don't want to break. First upgrade digital ?

Sure I get that, everything will be empty, just want to do a 4 hour drive home safely. Then fill trailer and truck for actual use.
