That makes sense. 11 - 12% while tilted slightly up does mean that it will be greater when level or lower; the effect is already showing, but you can't tell without tongue weights at each height....

I don't know why Myron pulled it out, but clearance between a tailgate and the tongue jack is the usual reason.

Eric is pushing it in, which is the right direction for towing dynamics. :)
