Time to paint the plastic.

A quick tip for removing the escape vent cover.
Open cover and screen, stand on bed and you will see a phillips screw at each end of the hinge, remove one, now go back inside, look for the 2 hinges...

Time to paint the plastic.

The paint I have used is a nice bright clean looking white that seems to match the 1 year old gelcoat nicely. The can just reads gloss white.

Hi Bob, yup gloss white.

I was surprised how fast these were yellowing. Mind you on other RVs I've owned the vent covers only lasted maybe 5 years then they were yellow, brittle and would crack...

Well after a walk around the trailer it hit me, my plastic vents, covers and such are starting to yellow and I know from experience that the next step is for them to become brittle. So out came the...
