To get a nice straight cut , I used my table saw . You could use other saws too. I also use the blue painters tape where it's going cut through . Pat.

Might of been me . Very easy to do . I undid the screw cover and undid screws behind stove . Cut piece you need plus a little extra to tuck in behind the Vent and tuck in about 1/4 extra there on...
