My only issue with Andersen saying you only need one leveler on a tandem axle is "how would they know?" They didn't build the axle, they made the levelers. There's probably no harm in using only one...

Here's how I do it. And, there is an x-chock on the other side. The only exception is when there's no slope front to back, and only side to side. In such a case I sometimes only use one x-chock....
