Your probably already aware of it but if not, I tried a MSW inverter on our electric blanket, no go, needed to be a PSW.

I used a small portable till I had need for 300w...

I used a small portable till I had need for 300w of PSW power, anything decent needed to be hardwired. Went with a 1000w so it'd cover a toaster.
