Well one of us grumpy old men is remembering wrong (but that happens to me all the time anymore), but I could swear I asked Reace when we picked up ours and he said go ahead and wax or polish it...

Ours still needs a good cleaning and waxing when the weather warms up - it still has Arizona and New Mexico bugs on it. I guess I MIGHT let you come wash and wax mine......;D

My perspective is that it all depends on how much your trailer is oxidized. We put on a coat of Nufinish before we even left Chilliwack, its always stored inside and we put on a new coat at least...

I think frequency depends on how much time the trailer is exposed to the elements. Ours spends the winter in a shed, and NuFinish easily lasts for a whole year. If it had to sit out exposed, I think...

I've had great luck with NuFinish. I've used it for years on cars and it seems to last quite well. I just bought some of their Wash product too, but haven't tried it yet.
