I think so, maybe more.
it will be the same amount of water but the pump should run less times, at night when it is most annoying, but longer each time it does have to run.

The pump did not cut on after 6 flushes, so I didn't bother continuing.
Haven't tried out the shower, hoping to do that in about three weeks.

Finally got it done. x 3

For a long time my modifications list has had three items.
- Water reservoir to smooth out shower pulses and stop pump from coming on with every flush
- 12 volt and USB plug just under the sink...
