Yup. The fresh water tank is white plastic. Likely shavings from when fittings are cut into the tank by the manufacturer.

Great job replacing the pump. I assume this is the winterizing T-valve you reference. Makes sense as it is upstream of the pump filter and very susceptible to debris.

Is there any chance the inlet and outlet hoses on the pump are reversed? There should be a flow arrow on the pump housing.
