Depends on the trailer and refer. I believe Escape is now installing a lot bigger refer with the roof exhaust and Reace assured me there is little room for any gaps as the entire space is enclosed...

Yes, I can see the foam in first picture. Since mine is a 19, my upper vent is way up high, by the roof so the refer is right between the two vents and my arms are short>>>I'll give it a try though.

I saw the space on the side, the side towards the rear when I took off the lower vent. I assume you took off the upper vent which has something like 18 screws holding it on?

With solar you should only be drawing 3-4 amps less your charging, did you ever measure your net loss while hooked up to tug, if 1-2 amps loss, may be worth to switch to DC?

It would be very helpful to everyone else reading this thread that in your response, you mention the model or type of refer you have in your unit, there are about 3-4 different sizes being used now...

great idea Jon, keeps the turbulence down and the refer stays on. Does it fit in the opening entirely to keep bugs out also?

The fridge vents are removable, the lower one has 2 plastic screws in upper corners. The upper have about 12 square head screws. I always install screening behind these vents to keep out insects and...

Over on the Lance trailer forums we had issues with the flame going out while towing. It seems the lower vent allows too much air, some members installed baffles behind the screen to keep the pilot...

If your flame sometimes blows out, does it continually keep trying to ignite until it does? Is this a problem later on, will you wear out the igniter after hours of tying? Or does it shut out...

How do you know that it stayed on while towing? Is it possible the flame went out and rellghted itself when you stopped? Put a penny on top of an ice cube in a tiny cup in your freezer. If it warms...
