David, the top pole comes out of the other two and then those two poles come out of the flag holders. It is kept in the box. Only takes a minute to put up, of course. I know we'll be using it plenty....

Here is a clothesline that our seller made. He had seen one just like it. It uses PVC and flag holders. Neat, eh??
