Thanks for the advice

I appreciate all of the comments and know what I will be doing. I will be leaving the fridge running on gas while we are traveling, except when on a ferry, or heading for a tunnel.

Refrigerator on propane while moving?

Do any members leave their fridge running on propane while the trailer is travelling, and if so, does this present any problems ? Flame blowing out? Is it permitted everywhere?
