I think you mean Vancouver Island, which is where the city of Victoria is located. The city of Vancouver is on the mainland.

As far as I know my 2009 could have been made "A/C ready", which would have meant reinforcing the roof. I didn't choose that option. There was no mention of sticking A/C in a cupboard.

I'd send an email to ETI with the VIN as ask if the trailer is "AC ready". If it is, you should be good. If not, it's probably too much work and expense to add roof AC.
