It's possible that you dislodged debris that was in the aerator at the faucet. Had my pump stop working a year ago. Took the aerator off, cleaned it and the pump worked.
The pump senses...

Removing the aerator from the faucet and cleaning out debris caught in it solved my problem with my water pump.
If it works, it's a quick fix. Just pay attention to which parts go back in what order...
