hmmm. I do believe I'd find the wire that feeds the RV connector its 12V power, and put a 40A or 50A automotive relay in the circuit, with the relay's coil triggered by an ignition switched power...

indeed, it shouldn't happen, when you shut off the truck, an isolator relay in the truck should shut off the power to the 7-blade trailer connector.

about the only time I've seen this happen is...
