Actually, not true. Our F150 is 54" at the axle. We had the body lifted two inches for a bit of insurance and now all is great. That big tailgate will open but it is close. If I back straight to the...

Hi: gocamp...Yes Escape will add an axle lift. Our 5.0 had a 3" one to fit the GMC Sierra and some small adjustments allowed the Nissan 4X4. The pin box needed to be extended one set of bolt holes...
