We have to change plans slightly - leaving early Sunday morning for work - so no pancakes. But we'll still bring dinner stuff.
See you all Friday!!

So the nerves got to you eh? The girls have been telling you for the past two years that your pancakes are almost as good as Ian's and now that you two were going to meet you have to cancel That's ok Dirk there will always be next year.

Re: 2011 Escape Rally June 3 - 5 Schedule of Events
Good morning folks,
This is my first post on this forum. I will be coming to the rally but may be the only one there without a trailer. I have 17B on order with a Sept. 7, 2011, completion date. I will be flying from Santa Fe to Seattle early tomorrow morning, then driving to Osoyoos. I'll be staying in the nearby Best Western. I should be able to make it for the "Meet & Greet" tomorrow evening.
I'm interested in meeting you, seeing your trailers, and finding out if there are any modifications I haven't already considered.
As for the pot-luck, I guess I'll have to trust that there is a deli in town to supply my offering, whatever it may be.
Looking forward to joining your tribe.
Bob

Re: 2011 Escape Rally June 3 - 5 Schedule of Events
We're running late. I hope to be rolling at 2:30, which probably has us arriving at 8:30 this evening.
We are going to need to arrange the potluck around the hockey game, but I am sure we will figure out something.

Re: 2011 Escape Rally June 3 - 5 Schedule of Events
19 hours of driving in 3 days was definitely worth it. Lisa, Jasper and I had a fantastic time. The weather co-operated wonderfully and the company we shared time with were great.
First weekend of next June is already blocked out.

Re: 2011 Escape Rally June 3 - 5 Schedule of Events
Hi Everyone,
What a great time Doug and I had on our first 'trailer trip'. Thank you to those who helped us out with great advice and/or that much needed extra pairs of hands. We're looking forward to many more outings in our 'Doodle Bug' (as we have christened our 17A.) and have marked down June 2012.
Thanks also to Tammy and Reece for arranging a great weekend, and for their encouragement for us to make it our first outing.
Cheers,
Pam

We had a great time at the Rally. Thanks to Reace, Tammy and the girls for a job well done. We can appreciate the effort it takes to host a camping event. Again, thank you.

Re: 2011 Escape Rally June 3 - 5 Schedule of Events
For all of you who had to head home on Sunday, we moved down to the lake shore, where the wind blew Monday ( and so did the Canucks ).
It's Tuesday afternoon and a howling gale threatened to remove my awning even after I reefed it. Wind died and now it's pouring rain, with thunder and lightening.
Of course. we are warm and dry in Toad, although I'll have to get a bit wet doing BBQ chicken.

Jeff:
Thanks, Jeff. This is the most popular photo so far, but there are a lot of fans for Al's 52 Chev!
