You must have used stuff well over 2 years old, as none of their new stuff requires soldering to the LED strip any more. A nice upgrade. While I don't really mind soldering, it is a bit of a pain on those small points.

I did just order this set of 10 lights last night. For $10 USD and free shipping, I am willing to risk it. Can't see where I could go wrong, and will order more if they work fine. They are 50cm long, and should be easy to cut down if a shorter length is needed.

Correct, those Wire Lead Connectors can be cut into two for connecting to line wires. You can use the long 48" leads with a connector on the end, but I only do that where I want a nice looking feed in a place it might show somewhat.

Love these guys; magnetic mount to a strip that had double-stick tape on it, so it's simple to remove and replace the batteries (which last a LONG time due to the 15 sec timeout.) Particularly useful in the bath. I just stuck one inside each cabinet where I wanted light. No switches/wires involved.

Also used it for a step light:

I bought this led roll from amazon
15 feet for $11
https://www.amazon.ca/Susay-Waterpro...led+warm+strip
and some wire, i think 50 feet for $9
and these Lee Valley switches for $2.50 each, and they come with the crimp on connectors.
Microswitch for LED Lighting - Lee Valley Tools
and you drill out the holes in the switch so that #6 green robinson screws fit through
when I un-screwed the under cabinet led lamps the front of them was marked on the wood with a line. I drilled a small hole up and slightly tilted so that the drill came out just behind the lip of the cabinet door. so the leds run across the top inside lip of the upper cabinet door. then the wire off them goes down the vertical lip of the door till it comes to the microswitch. at that point one of the wires is cut and the crimpon connectors put on both ends of the cut and the connectors up on the 'NO' and 'C' lugs on the switch. then the wire continues down and then across the bottom lip of the door to the hole drilled up from the lamp below, down thru that hole and tapped into the two wires that feed the under cabinet lamp.
Actually it is the yellow handle robertson screwdriver.

Amazing all the neat little led lighting options that weren't even available or thought of 5 or 10 years ago!

I wired up a single white led at the door of my truck camper 18 years ago, the single led cost me $15. And it was not bright at all. You could look right at it.
Now you can get a pack of six very bright flashlights with batteries included for less.
And the led at the camper door still works.

No More Flashlights
Finally did it thanks to some help with parts & know how from Bill who is da Coolcampingkid! The picture shows two of the five in the rear of our 21.
Didn't have ETI do 12V drops, however did not need them. Each cabinet had a surface mounted light that was a power source with a hole drilled back up into the cabinet and hidden by the light fixture. Next I will be doing the four cabinets that surround the bed and will tap into the captain's lights or use the wire from the stereo cable drop I never used.

I did all the upper cabinet lights in my 19 with no drops too, Ross. Not too tough at all.

Jim, you are one contractor I know who doesn't seem to suffer from the Cobbler's Kids Syndrome! You didn't say you had done the new trailer yet....

We love ours too!
Thanks Ross for the credit. I was just following the lead of others from here. The cabinet in the 5.0ta that was really dark were the two over the kitchen and now we can find stuff "without a flashlight"! We also use them when you need just a little light, just open a cupboard. I want to saybthis forum has been very helpful and inspiring. Thank you to all who share here! Bill
