21' under bed drawer specs

We are scheduled to pick up our new 21 footer on February 22nd.
One of the mods we are looking at is the under bed drawer to take advantage of the extensive storage area available. I've tracked back on the last 10 pages of the "Mods" thread and see some creative solutions to adding either gas cylinders or braces to hold up the plywood and access the space. I've seen a few thumbnails on drawers installed but no details.
I'm concerned about mounting drawer runners with screws and puncturing the tank underneath. Can someone either direct me to the appropriate thread or share the details on a successful installation?
