I sent a message to Dometic on a couple items, one of which was more detail on the case LED strip. Looking at the instruction sheet they sent me, it would seem real easy to incorporate your own light system with controller, following these same instructions. The one nice thing is that the lights move out with the awning, and are not exposed on the body when travelling.
Just throwing another idea out there for exterior LED strip lights. Not sure I will do it, but can decide a ways down the road.
